Stop and Mentor Program

Stop and Mentor Program offers practical skills and mentorships to Middle & Highschool students. Mentees will participate in various virtual experiences and special events, including one-on-one conversations with experienced mentors and Guest Speakers.

Stop and Mentor Mentoring Program is a community outreach program that provides structured mentoring and advocacy, tutoring and homework assistance, college preparation support, and life skills training to at-risk youth. The Program mentors work to keep all youth functioning academically at grade level or above to remain on track to graduate and move on to advanced education or training, as well as helping participants stay out of trouble, by learning the criminal justice system and behaving responsibly. Through individual and group work, mentors get to know the participants’ teachers, peers, and family and make visits at home to discuss problems and find solutions.
